I attended Belmont High School, an inner city school. Belmont' teachers helped me to become a College Bound Student. My desire to succeed and the support from staff provided the opportunity to earn an Honor Standing High School Diploma: Class of 1997
I was accepted the following schools: CAL State Northridge, CAL State Fullerton, CAL State San Diego, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara and UC San Diego. I chose to attend Glendale College where I completed my undergraduate studies, and completed a transfer program. This plan gave me the opportunity to grow and mature as a student. Upon completing this goal I earned an Associate Degree in Arts.
I then transfered to a four year institution, CAL State Northridge(CSUN), where I earned a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Spanish with an emphasis in Language and Culture. Years later, I completed the Spanish Single Subject Teacher Credential.
I'm currently working towards a Masters of Arts Degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis on Curriculum and Instruction.
