1. How did you get into what you do creatively? I've been an artist my entire life, so creativity is something that happens naturally in all aspects of my life. 2. Do you think that you would be able to teach what you do? Not really. I don't have a fundamental approach to my works, so teaching is very difficult. 3. What inspires you? I find my inspiration through social interaction. My connection with people and understanding the types of emotions that art can evoke from individuals drives me. 4. What do you do to get into your creative zone? I usually listen to music that has no words to it like classical, techno and trance. 5. What is your favorite accomplishment? My favorite accomplishment so far has been seeing clothing from my line on some of the dancers on America's Best Dance Crew. That moment made me realize that people do take notice of my work. 6. Do you ever create hidden meanings or messages in your work? Explain. No. Im a very literal artist and most of my work is in product design. 7. Do you enjoy sharing your work with others or do you prefer to go unnoticed? Why? I love to share my work with others and to receive their feedback, whether it's good or bad. 8. Do you pay attention to others' strong reactions to your work? Does that affect what you create? I do to an extent. I feel as an artist you have to present your work from your own point of you. It's an interpretation of how I see the world around me. 9. Who do you define as a visionary? I actually see Kanye West as a visionary. He really is a brilliant artist. It's just a shame that it has been over shadowed by his ego. 10. If your creative work were edible, what would it taste like? My creative work would taste like something I've never tasted before, because I'm always pushing myself to try new things to expand my love and knowledge for creative works. |
