our founders
Theta Chapter was founded in 1995 by seven beautiful ladies, "The Lucky 7." They are: Myrna Barrientos, Maria Teresa Corral, Sandra Cosio, Elvia De La Torre, Olga Guerrero, Diana Navarrette and Linda Rodriguez. These women brought the pillars of academic excellence, community service and sisterhood to CSUN, becoming the first Latina based sorority established on campus. They also worked hard to establish the first Lambda Theta Nu chapter in Southern California. 14 years later, the Theta Chapter of Lambda Theta Nu has made large strides and continues to empower Latinas in every facet of life.
