Welcome to Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. - Theta Chapter's website. Here you will be able to find information about the first Latina-based sorority established on the Cal State Northridge campus. We are members of the USFC council and have been recognized at Cal State Northridge since 1995. We stand for sisterhood, academics and community service. Whether you are a student or a parent, we hope that after visiting our website, you gain a better understanding of what our organization is all about.

News & Announcements:

January 26th 2009: Our chapter feels truly blessed to have celebrated our 15th Chapter Anniversary. On January 23rd, 1995 we became the first Latina-based organization to have established on the CSUN campus. We have since initated 75 truly dedicated women into our sisterhood.

We hope to add to our Family as we recruit for our upcoming class. We're looking for strong and committed women who will uphold our purpose. Do you have what it takes to become part of our Omicron class?

Our Purpose

The purpose of Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. shall be to open doors of opportunity to the Latinas of our community. Our primary focus is academic excellence and meeting the needs of Latina women in higher education. Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. also promotes the advancement of Latinas through various campus activities and community services, and provides an environment for personal growth within a unit of Sisterhood. Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. priorities, however, will be placed upon academic excellence and community service.
