The classroom requirements for the student are as follows:

• To complete a minimum of 45 hours of classroom experience.

• To establish and maintain at the assigned school a definite schedule which must involve at least two days and four hours per week.

• To maintain a log of the hours at the assigned school (see the lower portion of this form).

• To observe and assist as the teacher directs in the daily mathematics lessons of the classroom. (At an elementary school, remaining time may be used with other subjects at the teacher’s discretion.)

• To make up any hours missed or short by scheduling additional time.
