Working Title: Conic Sections

In the experiment below, move points $D$, $E$, and $F$. What do you notice? What do you wonder?

As you have seen, the curves you observed in the experiment above arise as intersections of a right circular conic surface and a plane which does not contain the vertex of that surface. These will be discussed further in the sections that follow.
