This is a website test video clip* of Dr. Rashmi Mayur,
Advisor to the United Nations Environmental Council
as he gave an address at the First World Oxygen Conference
held in San Antonio, Texas, in July 1998:
Dr. Mayur was explaining the terrible life circumstances for many people around the world,
circumstances which lead to the massive combustion of hydrocarbon fuels, with the consequent
creation of pollution and the loss of free bi-atomic oxygen (breathable 02) from our environment.
He reported that several Asian cities have reduced oxygen levels, and that levels in Bombay had been
measured as low as 10% (Suffocation from hypoxia occurs at 8%. It is my guess that the
10% measurement was taken during an inversion, but I wouldn't ever want my oxygen ratio to get so
close to that natural limit!).
