All About Me

This is myself wakeboarding at beautiful Lake Powell. My family in a panoramic headshot: Scott, Ellen, Brandon, Nicole, myself, Allie.

Two of my most favorite things in the world: hibiscus flowers and hummingbirds!

My name is Kelsie and I am 22 years old and live in the Santa Clarita Valley. I am majoring in Psychology and hope to be admitted to Northridge's School Psychology Master's Program.

I love my yearly summer vacations which are usually planned around water. I also enjoy my fall and winter mini-vacations when I travel to the Imperial Sand Dunes (Glamis) or Dumont Sand Dunes near Baker, Ca. I enjoy wakeboarding, tubing, and riding in the desert.

I also enjoy taking pictures to document the fun times that I have had. I have not yet completed an actual scrapbook, but have acquired many of the necessary supplies. I guess when I have enough time to sit and spend the weekend, I will.

Besides vacationing, which everyone enjoys, I love to try different kinds of food. I would say that I am slightly adventurous, but tend to stick to "safe" dishes. I plan on becoming more open and willing to try different things and getting out of my comfort zone.

I also LOVE my Australian Shepherd dog, Trixsie. She is going to be 5 years old on July 4th and is as hyper as the day I got her. We have worked on many tricks that I hope to show on this page.

My family is very important to me and have helped me become the person that I am today. I owe much of my sanity and insanity to them, I suppose. My two parents Scott and Ellen and my two older siblings Brandon and Nicole and my younger sister Allie are some of the most important people in my life.

The other important people in my life are my boyfriend Matt and my dog "daughter" Trixsie who I mentioned above. The two of them bring me the most happiness I have ever experienced.

This is me wakeboarding at Lake Powell. It was truly an amazing experience because the surroundings are so beautiful.

Our camping experience at Dumont and me riding in Glamis.

This is one of our many campsites at Dumont Dunes where we create a large circle with all of the vehicles.

A before and after picture of the demolished sand rail.

This is the first test drive of the newly rebuilt sandrail after it was completely demolished from the accident with the previous owner.

My dog Trixsie and I swimming and her as a puppy.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers: American Girl, I Wont Back Down, Free Fallin', Running Down A Dream.

American Girl

Well she was an american girl
Raised on promises
She couldnt help thinkin that there
Was a little more to life
Somewhere else
After all it was a great big world
With lots of places to run to
Yeah, and if she had to die
Tryin she had one little promise
She was gonna keep
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an american girl

Well it was kind of cold that night
She stood alone on her balcony
She could hear the cars roll by
Out on 441
Like waves crashin on the beach

And for one desperate moment there
He crept back in her memory
God its so painful
Something thats so close

And still so far out of reach
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an american girl

I Wont Back Down

Well I wont back down, no I wont back down

You can stand me up at the gates of hell

But I wont back down

Gonna stand my ground, wont be turned around

And Ill keep this world from draggin me down

Gonna stand my ground and I wont back down

Hey baby, there aint no easy way out

Hey I will stand my ground

And I wont back down.

Hey baby there aint no easy way out

Hey I will stand my ground

And I wont back down

Hey baby there aint no easy way out

Hey I will stand my ground And I wont back down

No, I wont back down

Running Down A Dream

It was a beautiful day, the sun beat down
I had the radio on, I was drivin
The trees went by, me and del were singin
Little runaway, I was flyin
Yeah runnin down a dream
That never would come to me
Workin on a mystery, goin wherever it leads
Im runnin down a dream
Yeah runnin down a dream that never would come to me
Workin on a mystery, going wherever it leads
Runnin down a dream
