Introduction
JASK is a committee that plans out events every 2 years that help promote deaf awareness during the month of April.Our purpose is to help promote and educate the public about deaf culture,its language,and its people.Everyone is invited to our events whether they are deaf, hard of hearing, or hearing, educators from every level,students who are Deaf studies majors, students who are interested in learning abou the Deaf community, students who are interested in sign language. All are welcomed.
Events
This month, the NCOD, Deaf CSUNians, and Deaf Studies department will be hosting numerous events and activities, including a Lecture series,"The Spirit of Deaf Leadership" featuring various guest speakers, games, workshops, and other activities for all ages.
