The tutorial application is a structured presentation utilizing animation to illustrate difficult concepts. Navigating the application as sequentially will provide procedural knowledge to basic drawing setup. Alternatively, the navigation also provides non-linear access to the various steps allowing for focused review of specific steps. Each section is presented as a series of steps finishing with a video review. The video will play in a separate browser window so that the entire AutoCAD screen can be viewed. The resources section provides links to additional sources on the web for instruction, additional practice exercises, as well as an interactive quiz. The Tutorial section provides a step by step overview of basic drawing setup and is accompanied by a PDF version which can be printed and used in tandem. The Additional Practice section provides examples that vary in scale and sheet size to provide problem solving practice in determining settings (these links are also provided within this User Guide). The quiz provides feedback to you and the student regarding their basic understanding of drawing setup for Architectural drawings.
