Text Box: Music is my love and passion...I could spend hours looking up new artist and checking out new local bands in the scene. Here is a sample of my favorite artist, with links to their music... This album came out in the midst of the “gangster rap” era of the 1990’s. It is considered one of the best hip hop albums out there and this song is a testament to Blackstar’s  lyrical genius.

Immortal Technique is one of the most politically savvy rappers I have ever come across.  His lyrics about social injustices are very raw and powerful.

By far, Thelonious Monk is my favorite Jazz artist.  His piano playing is a blend between sophistication and randomness.  He keeps you on the edge of your seat with his piano playing because you never  know which way he is going to go.
