Anti-transphobic pedagogy:

pedagogy that is not overtly transphobic

teaching practices, theories, curricula, and dispositions that do not assume or appear to assume that all students and teachers identify as male or female or inhabit gender roles that fit neatly into conventional understandings of male or female, and that do not assume or appear to assume that the world outside of the classroom is populated by people who are seen or see themselves or live their lives as only "male" or "female"
