Mission Statement
The SSC/EOP is comitted to providing services that will facilitate student success. We believe that a collaborative environment that brings together students, faculty, and staff will assist students in realizing their goals.
The primary responsibility of the Center is to provide academic and non-academic support services to students with majors and minors selected from the departments and programs within the College of Humanities; although any student, regardless of major is eligible to seek and receive assistance from the Center. While the Center attempts to provide service to all students, target groups have been established to ensure that retention and graduation goals are met. These target groups include Educational Opportunity Program (EOP), first-time freshmen, first-time transfer students, probationary and previously disqualified students.
