The University Honors Program in General Education offers high achieving CSU Northridge students a diverse, enriched academic experience in General Education that promotes the fullest development of your academic potential.

As a General Education Honors student, you enroll in special sections of GE courses taught by outstanding Northridge faculty. GE Honors Courses are engaging, challenging and fun. They satisfy required areas of the University's General Education Program - and for each GE Honors course you complete, you receive a special designation on your transcript. In addition, if you meet certain requirements, you will be awarded a General Education Honors Certificate at the time of graduation.

Office Hours: Tuesday, 3:00-5:00 PM, and Wednesday, 1:00-2:00 PM in Sierra Tower 731 (and by appointment).

Program Assistant: Liam McConville

Office Hours: Monday, 11:30-3:30 PM, Wednesday, 11:30-3:30 PM, and Friday, 2:00-5:00 PM in University Hall 215.

Please note that for currently accepted/enrolled GE Honors students, permission numbers are not necessary to enroll in HON courses. For incoming GE Honors students, and in emergency situations, please email Liam McConville to request permission numbers.
