Who are the University Ambassadors?

The Office of Guest Relations & Campus Tours coordinates the University Ambassador Program. The University Ambassadors are a diverse group of student leaders who volunteer their time to facilitate campus tours, host special events, and represent our University in a manner that exemplifies campus pride and professionalism.

Their main duties include…

  • Providing individual and group campus tours to prospective students, parents, and other guests
  • Co-hosting University events such as College Making it Happen and Explore CSUN
  • Cuddle & Read Drive: A philanthropic event that promotes literacy by raising funds to purchase books for local children in need between the ages of 3 and 13. This event is also an opportunity for elementary through middle school students to visit Cal State Northridge and experience life as a college student by taking campus tours and attending workshops. A majority of the students we impact through this event are first generation students.
  • Polished Apple Award Ceremony: An event honoring all faculty/staff members who have made a difference in one of the University Ambassadorís academic careers here at CSUN.
  • Promoting CSUN pride

University Ambassadors receive for their efforts...

  • Priority registration
  • Networking opportunities
  • The satisfaction of helping the campus and community
  • An end of the year recognition ceremony
