California State University, Northridge offers guided walking tours of campus. On a campus tour, you'll visit our major points of interest and learn about life as a Cal State Northridge student. Tours take approximately one hour and are led by University Ambassadors.
To join us on a tour, please make a reservation by calling Student Outreach and Recruitment Services at (818) 677-2879 during regular business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. We ask that you make your reservation two to three weeks in advance of your requested tour date, depending on the size of your group. Once we have your reservation, we will send you an email confirmation that includes information about complimentary parking. All reservations made less than 72 hours prior to the tour date will not receive complimentary parking.
We will do our best to accomodate those requesting an American Sign Language intrepreter, but this service is not guaranteed due to availability.

In the event of inclement weather, tours will continue under light rain. If severe weather conditions occur, we cannot permit a walking tour for the safety reasons. If your tour is unable to go out, we will provide a student panel and an opportunity to speak with an Outreach Counselor. We will also provide self-guided tour books for you to take.
This is a one-hour tour intended for individuals and their families (parties of 9 people or fewer) visiting Cal State Northridge. This tour provides a general overview of our academic programs, student support services and campus life. We ask that you make your reservation at least two weeks in advance of your requested tour date.
This is a one-hour tour intended for organizations, middle school, high school, and community college groups (parties of 10 people or more) visiting Cal State Northridge. We ask that you make your reservation at least three weeks in advance of your requested tour date. Please inquire about our 30-45 minute presentation for K-12 and community college students, which familiarizes students with Cal State Northridge admission requirements, the admissions process and various aspects of the CSUN experience. The availability for group tours and presentation is limited.
If you are unable to join us on a scheduled tour, you can take a self-guided tour. Stop by SOARS in Bayramian Hall 190 during regular business hours to pick up a self-guided tour brochure and campus map.
