Welcome to Student Outreach and Recruitment Services

On behalf of the department of Student Outreach and Recruitment Services (SOARS) at California State University, Northridge, I welcome you to our website. This website will acquaint you with our department's services and programs.

California State University, Northridge (CSUN) enjoys an enrollment of over 35,000 students and reflects the cultural diversity of our region. Our academic programs, commitment to community service, as well as research and internship opportunities support the fact that we are the first choice campus for thousands of prospective students.

We provide outreach and recruitment services to students at over 100 high schools, 22 community colleges, and various middle and elementary schools. We offer campus tours throughout the year guided by our University Ambassadors. We serve as the clearinghouse for university information and inquiries stemming from prospective students. Moreover, we collaborate on local and statewide parent college awareness initiatives.
