Welcome to SOARS
On behalf of the department of Student Outreach and Recruitment Services (SOARS) at California State University, Northridge, I welcome you to our website. This website will acquaint you with our department's services and programs.
Admissions Information
Incoming Freshmen
All elementary, middle school and high school students who plan on graduating from high school and want to attend a four-year institution.
Transfer Students
Students who plan on attending CSUN upon completing transferable units at a community college and/or other university.
Graduate
Students who are interested in obtaining a graduate, credential or professional degree.
International Students
Students who are interested in obtaining undergraduate or graduate degrees and are on an F-1 visa.
Newly Admitted Students
Students who have recently been admitted to Cal State Northridge for an upcoming term.
Extended Learning/Other
Students who plan on attending classes through The Tseng College or find themselves in a different classification.
Counselors
High school and community college counselors who are interested in learning more about CSUN.
Parents
Parents who are interested in learning more about CSUN.
