CSUN Panel to Explore Role Women
Play in Family Businesses

(NORTHRIDGE, Calif., June 2, 2003) - The multiple roles women play in the management and ownership of family business will be explored during a panel discussion later this month hosted by Cal State Northridge's Family Business Center.

The forum will take place from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, at the University Club on the southeast corner of the campus near Dearborn Street and Zelzah Avenue. The free forum is open to family business owners and their employees.

CSUN's Family Business Center is the leading resource for family businesses located in the greater San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley and Ventura County.

The center provides timely and relevant information specific to the needs of family businesses through seminars, support groups, networking, consulting, referrals and research. It forms partnerships in the business community to advance family business development and to increase understanding of issues surrounding family-owned businesses while fostering relationships between the university, its students and the community.
