Neurotic World of Woody Allen

(NORTHRIDGE, Calif., June. 26, 2003) - The neurotic world of director Woody Allen will be explored at this summer's Cinematheque series at Cal State Northridge

The public is invited to join faculty and students each week as they screen some of Allen's most memorable films, including Play It Again, Sam; Interiors; Manhattan; Zelig; Bullets Over Broadway and Hollywood Ending.

The free screenings take place every Monday and Wednesday from 5 to 11 p.m. in the Alan and Elaine Armer Theatre in CSUN's Manzanita Hall, located at the southwest corner of the campus at 18111 Nordhoff St., Northridge.

The Cinematheque's "The Cinema of Woody Allen" series kicks off on Wednesday, July 16, with the screenings of Interiors and September. The series concludes Monday, Aug. 11, with the screenings of Deconstructing Harry and Hollywood Ending.

The public is invited to come to the screenings early and enjoy the Cinematheque Gallery of Film Poster Art, the only permanent museum collection of classic motion picture posters in the United States.

For a complete program listing and show times, visit the Cinematheque's Web site at www.CSUNCinematheque.com.
