LA Zoo Comes to CSUN

What:

A small part of the Los Angeles Zoo is coming to Cal State Northridge Tuesday when retired Los Angeles television personality George Fishbeck and two other zoo docents visit the Child and Family Studies Lab School with a team of "wild animals."

The children will get a chance to visit with hedgehogs, rabbits, a turtle and a skink as well as see an ostrich egg and touch animal pelts. The docents will teach the children about the animals they will see as well as other animals at the zoo.

When:

Tuesday, July 16
10 a.m. ‹ Full-day kindergartners and preschoolers
10:45 a.m. ‹ Half-day preschoolers
