CSUN Still Accepting Transfer Student
Applications for Fall 2001 Semester
(NORTHRIDGE, Calif., June 8, 2001) - Cal State Northridge is still accepting applications from lower- and upper-division transfer students for the fall 2001 semester.
Interested students should complete and file an admissions application as soon as possible. The applications are available in local community college transfer centers or can be obtained by calling CSUN's Office of Transfer Services at (818) 677-4689.
To make the process easier, the Office of Transfer Services is open each afternoon for walk-in, pre-admission appointments. The office also is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Fridays. Early evening appointments can be arranged upon request.
The Office of Transfer Services is located in Room 190 of the Student Services Building on the west side of the campus at 18111 Nordhoff St. in Northridge.
"We hope to make the transfer process as easy and as smooth as possible," said Leroy Geter, associate director of transfer services.
No deadline has been set yet for the acceptance of transfer applications, but university officials urge interested students to get their applications in as soon as possible.
