Their Families at Open House '99

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - Incoming students can get a taste of what it is like to attend Cal State Northridge at Open House '99 on Saturday, March 20.

The open house will include a tour of the campus and an opportunity for students and their families to mingle with faculty, administrators, deans, staff and other students from different clubs and organizations.

An estimated 3,800 newly admitted students and their families are expected to attend.

The participants will have the opportunity to learn about the academic programs offered in the various departments including internships, research and mentoring programs.

Participants can also get a feel of college life with CSUN's array of clubs, organizations and student support services provided on campus.

The open house helps to guide prospective first-time freshmen and transfer students into an easy transition to the college university environment.

The open house will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Matador Bookstore located on the west side of the campus at 18111 Nordoff St.

To make reservations, call (818) 677-2967.
