The "Psychological First Aid: Crisis and Trauma Intervention Workshop" will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the Business Auditorium 101 in the west side of the campus near Etiwanda Avenue and Plummer Street.

Marriage and family counselor Nickie Godfrey will discuss a psychodynamic model of crisis intervention for dealing with personal trauma and relieving stress during a large-scale disaster. Godfrey's materials will cover alienation, isolation, depersonalization and guilt.

It is designed to provide quality continuing education and training to licensed counselors, teachers, school psychologists, interns and other mental health professionals.
