Yaroslavsky Holds Press Conference at CSUN

Los Angeles County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky will hold a press conference Thursday morning, Jan. 30, to launch a joint internship program between the county and Cal State Northridge.

Joining Yaroslavsky will be Louanne Kennedy, CSUN provost and vice president of academic affairs, Ron Kopita, the university's vice president of student affairs, and several of the students who will be working this semester with a variety of county agencies, including the coroner's office.

The press conference will take place at 9:15 a.m. in the Grand Salon of the University Student Union near the center of the campus at 18111 Nordhoff St. in Northridge.

Following the press conference, the students will meet with their counterparts from the county.
