Leyden is scheduled to speak at 12:30 p.m. in the Santa Clarita Room on the second floor of the University Student Union near the center of the campus at 18111 Nordhoff St. in Northridge.
Leyden spent nearly 15 years as a white supremacist. After the birth of his sons, Leyden said he began to question his life, and last June he renounced his past.
Leyden now regularly speaks out against the white power movement. He works with the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles, offering inside information about neo-Nazi methods, and monitors extremist groups.
Leyden's appearance is being sponsored by the Humanities Inter-disciplinary Student Association.
