CSUN to Host 1997 Grad Fest

It may only be February, but graduation is just around the corner. To help prepare students and their families for the big day, Cal State Northridge will host its first annual Grad Fest on Wednesday, Feb. 26.

"Alumni Relations, the Matador Bookstore, and the Office of Student Affairs created Grad Fest to make life easier for graduating seniors and their parents" said Gray Mounger, Director of Alumni Relations.

Representatives will be on hand to answer questions about the ceremony, caps and gowns, graduation announcements, diploma verification, school rings, hotel and rental car information for out-of-town guests, postgraduate assistance through the CSUN Career Center, and alumni involvement opportunities.

Attendees will also have an opportunity to enter the Grad Fest Drawing to win valuable prizes from event sponsors.

Grad Fest will be in the Matador Bookstore Quad from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and at the Matador Bookstore Concourse from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
