Honor Societies to Present CSUN with New Flag

Cal State Northridge is welcoming Spring with a patriotic flourish on March 4 when President Blenda J. Wilson is presented with a new American flag.

The ceremony, which will be held in front of the Oviatt Library, promises to be inspirational as the flag will be raised by Marines while a five-piece brass band plays the Star Spangled Banner.

The event marks the second time a United States flag will be presented to CSUN by Blue Key National Honor Society and Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society.

Dedication of the flag, which will fly over the Oviatt Library, will take place at 11:30 a.m.
