The briefing is scheduled for 11 a.m. on the lawn near the west side of the old Administration Building on the west side of the campus near Vincennes Street and Etiwanda Avenue.
Wilson and a senior Federal Emergency Management Agency official will also announce FEMA's approval of a large package of repair, recovery and demolition projects totaling several millions of dollars.
CSUN's Vice President for Administration and Finance Art Elbert will announce plans for such major projects as the Oviatt Library wings, the old Administration Building, old South Library, the vacant University Tower Apartments, and the badly damaged Fine Arts Building.
A student jazz group will perform from 10:30 to 11 a.m. and the Athletic Department will provide free soft drinks.
The briefing is open to the public. Free public parking is available in Student Lot B on the southwest side of the campus on Darby Avenue.
