Preschoolers, Kindergartners to Race
Their Trikes for a Good Cause
What:
Dozens of preschoolers and kindergartners will be putting the pedal to the playground for the annual "Trike-A-Thon" at Cal State Northridge's Child and Family Studies Center.
The children will race tricycles around a "track" set up in the play yard behind the center's "Lab School" in an effort to raise money to support the school's programs.
The Child and Family Studies Center's Lab School serves preschool and kindergarten children. The school and the center are part of CSUN's Department of Family and Consumer Sciences in the College of Health and Human Development. They are dedicated to fostering a partnership with children's families. The school also serves as a learning environment for CSUN students interested in working with children.
