Elementary School Students Put On a Show
to Raise Money for Their School
What:
Dozens of CHIME Charter Elementary School students, following the tradition of Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney, are putting on a show to raise money for their school.
The young people and their parents will sing, dance and otherwise perform in CHIMEÕs second annual ÒTalent ShowÓ to raise money for a music program.
The CHIME Institute develops and implements model programs that support all children to achieve their maximum potential, and that provide dynamic research and training environments to disseminate best educational practices.
CHIME includes an infant/toddler program, and charter elementary and middle schools. The elementary and middle schools are independent schools that provide free public education through affiliation with the Los Angeles Unified School District and serve as demonstration and teacher-training sites for Cal State NorthridgeÕs nationally acclaimed Michael D. Eisner College of Education.
