Nominations are being accepted through Monday Feb. 3. The winner will be honored at the inaugural Family Owned Business Awards reception on Wednesday, March 12, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Warner Center Marriott Hotel, 21850 Oxnard Street in Woodland Hills. The nomination guidelines are as follows:

• The company must be located in the greater San Fernando Valley region ­ south to Mullholland Canyon, west through Camarillo, north through Santa Clarita/Valencia, east through Glendale.
• The company must be at least two years old and have sales revenue of $5M or greater. There may be some exceptions for business with sales revenue under $5M.
• Family owned business is encouraged to self-nominate.
