What:

Dozens of preschoolers and kindergartners in Cal State Northridge's Child and Family Studies Center's Lab School get their chance to make snowmen, break out into snowball fights and slide through the snow when more than 6 tons of the white stuff are produced in the school's playground.

When:

9:30 a.m., Wed., Feb. 20, snow-making begins
10:15 a.m., half-day preschoolers play in snow
11:15 a.m., kindergartners and full-day preschoolers play in snow
