Child and Adolescent Development Career Fair Offers
Opportunities for Students in the Business World

(NORTHRIDGE Calif., April 22, 2002) - As graduation nears, many students are unsure about what they will do once they get their diplomas.

Cal State Northridge¹s Child and Adolescent Development program will host a career fair to give its students a chance to explore what they want to be when they enter the business world.

Representatives from more than 30 potential employers and graduate programs will be on hand at the "Child and Adolescent Development Career Fair" on Monday, April 29. The career fair will be held in the Grand Salon of the University Student Union near the center of campus at 18111 Nordhoff St. in Northridge at 5:30 p.m.

"This career fair is an opportunity for students to explore and expands their career options in working with children, adolescents and families. Students will have the chance to fill out applications for the various companies and centers that will be present at the career fair," said Marife Adriano, coordinator for the event.

Among the representatives expected to be at the fair are Los Angeles Unified School District, Teacher Recruitment Center, Ventura District, Bright Horizons and Child Care Resource Center.
