CSUN Conference Aims to
Change Faces in Higher Education
(NORTHRIDGE, Calif., Feb. 22) - Cal State Northridge officials hope to
encourage students to go on and get their degrees at a special conference on
Saturday, March 9.
The fourth annual Advancement to Graduate Education Conference, "Changing
Faces in Higher Education," will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in
the University Student Union on the east side of campus at 18111 Nordhoff
St. in Northridge.
The conference will feature a keynote address by renowned psychologist and
UC Irvine professor Joseph White.
"This conference hopes to bring more information and resources to our
participants. I feel very enthusiastic about our guest speaker, whom I met
while as a graduate student. His presence will have a profound impact on
the setting to our conference theme," said Cedric Hackett, the coordinator
for the Advancement to Graduate Education Conference.
Among the topics to be discussed are graduate admissions process,
University of California graduate admissions, graduate test preparations,
law school admissions and financing your graduate education.

Ticket Office in the student union.
