CSUN Offers Life-Saving CPR Program

(NORTHRIDGE, Calif., April 23, 2001) ‹ Cal State Northridge is offering the public a chance to learn how to save a life.

The university is hosting the American Heart Association's seventh annual "CPR Blitz" on Sunday, April 29, in the CSUN Matadome, on the west side of the campus near Zelzah Avenue and Plummer Street.

Registration is at 8 a.m., followed at 9 a.m. by the program, which is expected to last until noon.

Participants in the free event will learn basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation and receive a CPR manual and participation card.

The event is sponsored by Northridge Hospital Medical Center.
