The smart gardening workshops offer tips for water-wise gardening, grasscycling, mulching, yard trimmings composting and worm composting. Workshops will be offered at 10 a.m and again at noon.

Compost bins will be for sale at discounted prices with proof Los Angeles residency (a valid drivers license and a billing statement from the Department of Water and Power).

The gardening workshops and composter sale will be held in Parking Lot C on Zelzah Avenue on the east side of campus at 18111 Nordhoff St., Northridge.
