The "Healthy Start Fair" will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Toluca Lake Elementary School located at 4840 Cahuenga Blvd. in North Hollywood.

"It¹s important for our students to understand who Cesar Chavez was and the values he stood for," said Vicki Ebin, CSUN health sciences professor and event co-coordinator. "What better way to do this than to participate in Cesar Chavez Day."

More than 200 CSUN volunteers and community-based agencies will host health education booths. Health-related information and activities will be available throughout the day.

The event is coordinated by CSUN¹s Health Sciences Department and Career Center¹s volunteer program in collaboration with the Los Angeles Unified School District.
