Lecture about China's Guangzhou to be Held at CSUN

The lecture, titled "Socialism or Capitalism: Socialist Market Economy in the Guangzhou Economic & Technological Development Zone," will take place in the Education Building, Room 1214 on Etiwanda Avenue at Plummer Street.

The guest speaker of the lecture will be Frank Han Song Hong, vice president of the Industrial Development Corporation, Guangzhou Economic & Technological Development Zone.

"This lecture will be very informative and significant because Guangzhou is the most economically and politically liberal area in China," said Justine Su, director of the China Institute. "Few people here have had the opportunity to learn about what is really going on in that area from someone in a leadership position there."
