The session will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. in the university's Education Building Room 1214 on the west side of campus near Etiwanda Avenue and Plummer Street.
Marriage and family counselor Robin Scott Walker will present "Clinician's Workshop In Child Therapy." The topics will include how to use developmental perspective, how and when to deal with parents, how to structure the therapeutic hour, special needs for teens, art therapy techniques, play therapy techniques and how to equip an office for less than $150.
Affordable fees and continuing education units are offered to marriage family child counselors, licensed clinical social workers and educators.
The workshops are designed to provide quality continuing education and training to licensed counselors, teachers, school psychologists, interns and other mental health professionals.
