PRESS RELEASE
FOR RELEASE: December 16, 1999
Enrollment for first-time freshmen closed Nov. 30th for the next Spring and Fall semesters. University officials wanted to make sure that community college transfer students and those interested in CSUN's graduate programs knew there is still space for them.
"While we've filled up our spaces for first-time freshmen, we still have slots for transfer and graduate students and we want them to know they're welcome at the university," said Ludim Seja de Manzano, director of CSUN's Student Outreach and Recruitment Services.
Interested students can apply on-line via the California State University website www.csumentor.edu or by submitting an application, which can be obtained at the university or by calling (818) 677-3748.
In addition to offering bachelor's degrees in 48 subjects, California State University, Northridge also offers master's degrees in 39 subjects ranging from education and genetic counseling to business administration and linguistics.
For more information, call (818) 677-2967.
