CSUN Makes Applying to College Easy
for Local High School Students

Cal State Northridge recruitment officials will visit neighboring communities to take away the hassle for college-bound students in applying to one of the Southland's top universities. If they are eligible, students will be told on the spot if they have a place at Cal State Northridge next fall.

Students must bring a completed CSU application and a copy of their transcripts and SAT I or ACT test scores; have a minimum GPA of 2.0 in college prep course work; and $55 for the application fee or a completed fee waiver form. Students applying for the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) must bring supplementary forms.

Students should make an appointment to ensure they will be seen. There will also be information on residential life, financial aid scholarships and placement exams.

The "On-Site Admission Days" are as follows:

• Bravo Medical Magnet High School
  1200 N. Cornwell St., Los Angeles
  Saturday, Nov. 13 at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  Targeted high schools: Bravo Medical Magnet, Wilson, Jefferson, Roosevelt, Belmont, Franklin, Lincoln, Alhambra, Bell Gardens, Bell, Cathedral, Huntington Park and Garfield.

• First Church of God
  9550 Crenshaw Blvd., Inglewood
  Saturday, Nov. 20 at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  Targeted high schools: Dorsey, Crenshaw, Inglewood, Morningside, St. Mary's Academy, Washington Prep, J. Serra, Manual Arts, Queen of Angels, Gardena, Leuzinger, Compton, Centennial, Dominguez and Froshay Learning Center.

• New Revelation Baptist Church
  855 N. Orange Grove Blvd., Pasadena
  Tuesday, Nov. 23 at 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  Targeted high schools: Pasadena, Marshall Fundamental, Blair, John Muir, San Marino, Arcadia, La Salle, La Canada, St. Francis, Flintridge, Southwestern Academy, Westridge, Mayfield, Marantha, Temple City, Monrovia, Duarte, San Gabriel, Alhambra and South Pasadena.
