CSUN's Valley Trauma Center Recognized with Breakfast

CSUN's Valley Trauma Center will be honored during a breakfast on Thursday, Sept. 17 in the University Club, located on the southeast corner of the campus at 18111 Nordhoff St., Northridge from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Parking is available behind Monterey Hall.

The event, sponsored by the Department of Educational Psychology and Counseling, Department of Education, is an early celebration of CSUN's 40th Anniversary.

Councilwoman Laura Chick will be the keynote speaker. Tickets may be purchased for $15.00.

The Valley Trauma Center is a nonprofit community-based organization affiliated with the College of Education at California State University, Northridge. It is the only rape crisis center serving the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys, providing a 24-hour hotline, counseling, education, accompaniment and intervention services.
