CSUN Career Center Sponsors Job Fair '98

The Career Center at Cal State Northridge will sponsor its bi-annual job fair on Monday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the University Student Union located on campus at 18111 Nordhoff St., Northridge.

Undergraduates, graduates and alumni can network, obtain employment information and gain experience interviewing with the more than 150 employers expected to recruit at this year's event.

Employers are looking to hire for part-time jobs, internships and volunteer opportunities. School Districts also will be on hand seeking credentialed candidates.

Companies interested in hiring graduating seniors will be located in the Northridge Center Arena and Engineering and Computer Science majors may meet prospective employers in the Grand Salon's Technical Recruiting Arena.

Two special areas will be available for Los Angeles County internships in the Balboa Room and for non-profits in the Court of Community.

Some employers will be conducting same day interviews from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. or will be arranging interviews for a later date. Graduates should come dressed for success and equipped with their resume.

Companies registered to attend the event include Bank of America; Dreamworks SKG; Pepsi-Cola; Los Angeles County Department of Health Services; Northrop Grumman; and Walt Disney.

An updated listing of prospective employers is posted in the Career Center and on its web site at www.csun.edu/career.
