CSUN Honors Artists with Reception and Exhibit

"Group Nine" is dedicated to exploring the freedom of extemporaneous art-making. The group consists of CSUN alumnae Patti Akesson, Lynn Bassler, Merrilyn Duzy, Myra Gantman, Dona Geib, Midge Lynn, Barbara Nathanson, Anita Segalman and Norma Jean Squires.

The exhibition, which will feature individual and collaborative projects, will run from Oct. 12 through Nov. 14.

Gallery talks by the artists also are scheduled for Monday, Oct. 12 at 10 a.m., as well as a panel discussion with the Group Nine artists on Monday, Oct. 19 at 10 a.m.

All events will be held in the CSUN Art Dome on the south side of campus located at 18111 Nordhoff St, Northridge.

Gallery hours are Monday and Saturday, from noon to 4 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
