The evening will include an opportunity for questions and comments from the public.
The 15-member task force was established by CSUN President Blenda J. Wilson at the request of the state Legislature to develop "a balanced and financially viable athletic program that is in full compliance with the requirements of Title IX and the CSU Cal/NOW consent decree."
The task force has been meeting every Monday since Sept. 29. The task force will submit "a preliminary long-range plan" for intercollegiate athletics to Wilson by Dec. 1. Public hearings and a final report will follow.
The Performing Arts Center is on the east side of the campus at 18111 Nordhoff St. in Northridge.
