The event is sponsored by CSUN's Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, which hopes to encourage grade schooler's interest in science and math.
There will be workshops in such subjects as biology, chemistry, physics, geology and astronomy. Lockheed, the aero space giant, will also display its new model of the Space Shuttle "X-33."
The event will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the University Student Union, on the east side of campus at 18111 Nordhoff St. in Northridge.
