CSUN Student Program to Sponsor Dialogue on Creating Healthy Communities

Cal State Northridge's Partnerships Empowering Youth to Serve (PEYS) program will sponsor open forums on creating healthy communities. The forums will be held on three days at locations throughout the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles.

PEYS is a program that provides work experience to high school and college students, helping them promote community health.

The program is funded by the California Endowment in Woodland Hills and aims to improve access to affordable, quality health care for underserved individuals.

The forums will be held at the following locations:

• Tuesday, May 19, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Watts Labor Community Action Committee 10950 South Central Avenue Los Angeles, CA 90059
• Wednesday, May 20, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Bravo Medical 1200 North Cornwell St. Los Angeles, CA 90023
• Friday, June 12, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Pacoima Community Center 11243 Glenoaks Boulevard Pacoima, CA 91331
