Dance troupes from an array of Asian cultures will perform at Cal State Northridge's "1998 Annual Asian Pacific Heritage Night" on Saturday, May 30, at 7:30 p.m.
The variety show commemorates Asian Heritage month with performances which include the Korean Fan and Drum dance, the Chinese Flower and Drum dance and the Indian Bharta Natyam dance.
The show will be held at the Performing Arts Center on the east side of campus at 18111 Nordhoff St., in Northridge. Parking is available in Lot C, near the corner of Zelzah Avenue and Plummer Street for $3. A $10 donation will be asked at the door. Children under six years of age will not be admitted to the performance.
The event is sponsored by CSUN's China Institute and the San Fernando Valley Chinese Cultural Association.
