The Job Festival allows students to network, obtain career information and gain experience talking with employers.
Among the companies taking part are State Farm Insurance, E! Entertainment, IBM, Radio Shack, Lockheed and Sears.
Graduating seniors and masters candidates in all majors can meet with potential employers from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the center area of the University Student Union (USU) on the east side of campus at 18111 Nordhoff St., in Northridge.
Engineering and computer science majors will find employers in the USU Grand Salon's Technical Recruiting Arena.
Participants are encouraged to dress for success and may attend optional seminars before the Job Festival on "Making Job Fairs Work," "Resume Writing," or "Interview Techniques."
